    NOTE

This sketch was done within a 30-minute time limit.

The main focus was blocking in the form quickly, but the detailing stage was not completed due to limited time.

This practice highlights the challenge of balancing speed and detail during short sketching sessions.

Digital drawing practice focusing on basic form preparation before detailing stage

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

This practice was a preparation step before entering the detailing phase.

At this stage, I am still focusing on understanding basic forms and structure, so I decided not to push into detailing yet.

For now, I intentionally skipped shading and fine details due to limited knowledge and tools. I plan to revisit these aspects later when my fundamentals and equipment are more suitable for small details and shading work.

Even so, I feel satisfied with the result of this drawing as a solid step in my learning process.

Practice Focus: Basic form preparation before detailing

Current Stage: Fundamental study (form and structure)

    Detailing & Shading: Postponed intentionally

Character sketch development with basic form refinement and umbrella accessory addition

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

This stage focuses on slightly refining the character’s form and introducing simple accessories.

The umbrella was added to explore how an external object interacts with the character’s pose and silhouette without going into heavy detailing.

The goal of this step is still structural clarity rather than visual polish, ensuring that added elements support the overall composition instead of distracting from the main form.

    Detail

Practice Focus: Form refinement and accessory integration

    Main Accessory: Umbrella

    Detailing Level: Low (structural exploration)

Basic foot form drawing practice focusing on structure, volume, and simple construction shapes

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

This practice session focuses on studying the basic form of the foot.

The goal is to understand the overall structure and volume before moving on to details such as toes, muscles, or surface anatomy.

By simplifying the foot into basic shapes, it becomes easier to draw it from different angles and maintain correct proportions.

    Detail

Practice Focus: Basic foot form and structure

    Approach: Simplification into basic shapes

    Detailing Level: Low (form study)

Rough sketch stage combining simple 3D forms to build basic body structure before detailing

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

This stage is still a rough sketch focused on combining simple 3D forms.

The main goal is to unify volumes and understand how basic shapes connect before moving into refinement or detailing.

At this stage, accuracy of form and spatial relationship is more important than clean lines or visual polish.

    Detail

Practice Stage: Rough sketch / construction

    Main Focus: 3D form integration

Detail Level: Very low (structure study)

Second rough sketch focusing on basic body structure without arm, hair, or clothing details

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

This is the second sketch result, still kept in a rough stage.

The drawing intentionally avoids detailing such as arms, hair, and clothing to maintain focus on overall structure and proportion.

At this stage, the priority is building a solid foundation before moving on to refinement and details.

Basic hand structure practice focusing on palm and finger construction for drawing fundamentals

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

Today’s practice focuses on learning the basic structure of the hand, which is still one of the most challenging parts for me.

The goal of this session is not detail or polish, but understanding the fundamental forms that build the hand.

This practice is part of a long-term plan to strengthen overall anatomy knowledge step by step.

    Detail

    Practice Focus: Basic hand structure

Learning Order: Head structure, torso, pelvis, hands, feet, arms, thighs, and calves

    Practice Stage: Fundamental form study

Basic torso structure drawing practice showing multiple angles and rotations for understanding form and perspective

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

This practice focuses on studying the basic torso structure from various camera angles.

The goal is to understand volume, rotation, and perspective before adding anatomy details.

By simplifying the torso into basic forms, it becomes easier to visualize how the body turns in space.

Torso and pelvis basic structure practice focusing on construction and volume understanding

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

I spent a full day studying the basic structure of the torso.

Honestly, the pelvis area feels tricky because I’m still unsure where to start and how to define its shape.

For the chest, it’s easier to begin from the shoulder landmarks, but the pelvis doesn’t feel as intuitive yet.

To improve my understanding, I plan to look for more reference materials and tutorials on YouTube.

Sunday daily drawing practice with partial detailing, focusing on form refinement and early shading

    Practice Video

No practice video available for this session.

    NOTE

Since this practice was done on Sunday, I had more time and was able to continue into the detailing stage.

However, the drawing is still unfinished and has not been fully polished.

The main areas that still need improvement include shading, facial details, and smaller elements such as finger details, hair refinement, and overall line cleanup.

    NOTE

This is the first sketch result and it is still in a rough stage.

The drawing focuses only on basic form and proportions, without adding hair, clothing, or shading.

At this stage, the goal is to make sure the structure feels solid before moving on to further detailing.
